It’s almost over! I promise. The bike building is on hold while I make holiday gifts. I can’t post about crafting because people who read this blog are getting homemade items. Food has been…. well….. Do you want to read about how to spend eight hours making perogies from scratch like my 99 year old granny taught me? I could post that. It would make the two posts about pickles look brief.
Hmmm…. one post about the dough (7 or 8 pictures). One about potato or potato and cheese filling (10+ pictures). One about sauerkraut filling (15+ pictures). One about actually stuffing the perogies. I would need a guest photographer for that one…. or maybe a YouTube video. One about how to cook and store the 600+ perogies I just made….
The thing is…. I think it is worth while making my own twice a year and devoting a big chunk of my freezer to storing them…. but I’m not sure if anyone else would be interested in the huge effort just to try something new.
I will freely admit that sauerkraut dumplings sounds really weird if you haven’t grown up with them…
Anyway… The point that I started out trying to make is the I have been really busy doing the sort of things that I normally blog about….. but for various reasons didn’t feel that it was suitable for posting.
